Due to real concerns about the present state of the economy, and the climate in which we operate as a healthcare provider, our supporters are indicating that they wish their gifts to fulfill the purpose of Someone’s in the Kitchen without seeing their generosity eroded by the expenses associated with putting on such an event. Thus, as good stewards of the philanthropic dollars the Jewish Home has been fortunate to receive, the leadership of the Jewish Home has made the decision not to move ahead with Someone’s in the Kitchen at this time.
Although we will not be in the kitchen this year, we are stirring the pot with alternative ways to bring our community together in the near future.
